A Plantation House Wedding | Justin+Elizabeth
Y'all. There are really no words that I can use to describe how beautiful this wedding was and how much joy it brought me to be able to capture it. It took place at the Plantation House on the first cool-ish day we had in Austin after a very brutal summer. It was the perfect weather for a perfect day. There are a couple of moments that really captured my heart on this beautiful day. Watching Elizabeth and her mom put on Elizabeth's wedding gown in a room with just the two of them was absolutely precious. The love these two have for each other is one that I hope to have with my daughter one day. The second moment that I loved was when Elizabeth's dad saw her for the first time. I did a blog entry on this event last week, but I will say again that it was such a sweet moment to be a part of.
Just a quick sidenote: Elizabeth's details were gorgeous, my friends. Her sash even had one of her grandmother's brooches pinned to it. So sweet! Make sure you check out her bridals. This girl is so elegant!
Hanging out with the bridal party is always one of my favorite things, and this wedding was no different. Justin+Elizabeth had such fun-loving bridesmaids and groomsmen that I think I was probably laughing for the majority of the night (aside from the ceremony of course!). The reception was a blast with lots of laughter, tears, dancing, and even the Aggie War Hymn. I loved seeing Justin+Elizabeth so happy and full of joy!
When the night had come to an end and the couple had made their grand exit (to sparklers!), I was packing up my gear and got an overwhelming sense of thankfulness. I feel so blessed that I was able to be a part of this special day. Getting to know Justin, Elizabeth and their families the past few months while preparing for the big day has been such a fun experience. Seeing the smiles and joy on their faces was definitely worth all of the hard work.
