Sarah | Ma Maison Bridals

It was pure joy having the opportunity to get to know Sarah during her wedding planning process. This girl is absolutely stunning on the outside, just as beautiful on the inside, and I think I could sit and chat with her for hours. Sarah has a classic elegance that will completely take your breath away, and with makeup/hair by Makenzi Laine -- look out y'all. This session was way too much fun, and I'm so excited to be able to share them now that Sarah+Joseph are officially hitched!

Lindsey radiates joy, you guys. I don't think I've ever met such a happy, spirited lady in all my life. It was an honor to capture her and her loveliness.

Spring Princess | Styled Shoot

I am so excited to finally share some of my favorites for a "Spring Princess" shoot we did a few months back. I was honored to have this session featured on Magnolia Rouge earlier this week.

The inspiration for the session started with a love for all things Spring. Nothing says Spring like bright colors and lots (I mean LOTS) of flowers. The florist (Bristol Lane Florals) and I knew that we wanted an environment that would be fresh and clean and allow for some great splashes of color throughout. From the bold colors of the centerpiece against the white draped table cloth, to the floral hoops on the white wall and the amazing, fuchsia floral shawl against the white dress, this session turned out better than we could have imagined. Oh and let’s not forget the amazing floral hat that is the reason why we have come to call this the “Spring Princess” session. With simple yet elegant paper products by Magnolia Tree Paperie, gorgeous hair and makeup by Makenzi Laine, and styling by Jill Watson, the session was flawless. The wedding venue, Mercury Hall, was a perfect fit for our fresh, clean feel with it’s white walls and simple atmosphere. I also chose to photograph all this gorgeousness on film in hopes of capturing it’s true beauty in a way that only film can. When I look through these images, I can’t help but be inspired by the amazing floral creations, the bright colors, and the beautiful elegance of it all.

Fall Bohemian Bridal Session + Giveaway No. 4

Brand, Bride, WeddingJessica ScottComment

With all of the rebranding shenanigans that I have been happening over the past several months, there are a few wonderful sessions that have not been posted on my blog yet. Today it is my pleasure to share with you my Fall-Inspired Bohemian Shoot with you guys!

This session was such a blast, and had so many wonderful people involved. Meredith of Bristol Lane Florals did the flower crown and bouquet, and I absolutely cannot get over how amazing they turned out. I watched her put these two lovely creations together in my house, and my mind was completely blown away by her talent. The super fun, twisty braided hair was done by Laura Needham, and the dress is a Sarah Seven dress from Serendipity Bridal. My good friend, Clayton (who did my promo video!) of Stringer Productions even tagged along and snagged a short little dreamy video of the session. All of this gorgeousness took place at Pecan Grove out in Driftwood, and it was the perfect setting for the shoot!
This session was also featured on Style Me Pretty Texas a little while back, and you can see that post here!

Here is the fun video by Stringer Productions!

Thanks to all of you who entered the giveaway yesterday! I wish I could give all of you these fun mugs, but alas, there must be one winner. After drawing names this morning, the winner of the Moscow Mule mugs is Eva Cranford! I'll be contacting you to get your info!

Today's giveaway is one of my favorites and is appropriately named the "favorites box." In this box, you will receive a few of my very favorite things: the most recent Kinfolk Magazine, a teacup from Anthropologie, "Zen" and "Refresh" TAZO tea, and a sweet little Capri Blue candle (volcano scent of course!).
